Elizabeth Crosby Chairs the Firm’s Employment, Labor and Workers’ Compensation practice. She is a graduate of the University of Akron where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cleveland State University’s John Marshall College of Law.
Ms. Crosby has received the highest (“A”) peer review rating acknowledgement possible in her profession from Martindale Hubbell. She is also the first woman attorney in Ohio certified as a dual specialist in Workers’ Compensation and Labor & Employment Law after meeting the extensive requirements and high standards of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Specialty Board. She is only one of 12 people in Ohio carrying dual certification. This is consistent with Ohio Lawyer Magazine’s recognition of her as an Ohio SuperLawyer in the area of Workers’ Compensation. SuperLawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Ms. Crosby is active in the business community and in civic leadership roles. She is an active member and volunteer with The Council of Small Enterprises ("COSE"). She is a charter member of the Cleveland Chapter of the Women Presidents Organization (“WPO”). She is past president of the Lakewood Junior Women’s Club. She is former chair of Lakewood’s Planning Commission and formerly served on the City’s Block Grant Development board.
Ms. Crosby is passionate about her work and her clients. She is a frequent lecturer on all areas affecting workplace conduct and regularly authors articles for the business and legal community on compliance with state and federal workplace requirements.
